Utrecht has only one international literary podium, and that is wordsinhere's Salon des Mots. On this stage writers from all over the world get up to perform along the side of local artists and musicians.
Upcoming show: Sunday, 28 September Salon des Mots is ready for another awesome season of poetry and music from all over the globe. Brought to you by wordsinhere, Salon des Mots is where international poets step up with the Dutch to perform on one cross cultural stage. Performing for this show are Prue Duggan (Aus) who is a stage diva and word charmer, Marijke Arrietta (NL) whose poetry fits somewhere between the pavement and the clouds. A very gifted poet Jennifer Arcuni (USA), she can make words shine neon of the page and on the stage. And singer songwriter Lily Kiara (NL) her poetic lyrics and tantalising voice is impossible to resist. Emceed by Anna Arov (Rus/Can).
Want to be on-stage this season? We're looking for poets, writers, storytellers, spoken word artists and performers, etc, etc. Amateur and professional — as long as you can get it off the page.

If you are not in the Netherlands, please include performance history (if any). For slam and other artists whose work is less page-oriented, and you do not have sound samples, please simply let us know of your interest to perform.
