The Open Stanza is a new performance
night in Amsterdam. It is where poetry, voice, ears, and eyes merge.
Stanzas coming off the page. The debut evening - 20 December - will
include performances from six local poets and writers, music from
Daniël Baars of hip!jesus, and a local DJ's pre- and post-party
spins.
1 December is the last day we're accepting
submissions for our debut night of The Open Stanza. We're
looking for writers with voices. We are always accepting submissions
but if you want to try for the debut night, send up to 5 poems or
1000 word sample of your prose by the first.

The Editors of Versal are busy making
the final spelling corrections, and our designer is waiting anxiously
