Workshops for the Live Writer

workshops.wordsinhere.com

The Writing Workshops kick off in just a few weeks, bringing to Amsterdam a comprehensive and affordable workshop program dedicated to encouraging the writing life.

Just starting out or not used to sharing your work? Trying to get that short story off the ground? Struggling through Chapter 10 of your novel? Looking for some new tools to revise your poems beyond the first draft?

And did we mention that they're affordable? At only 20 euros for single sessions and only 150 euros for the six-week sessions, these workshops are unbeatable in price (not to mention in quality).

The Writing Workshops at Amsterdam's beautiful English Bookshop are an excellent opportunity to invest in your writing life. Drop into The English Bookshop for more information and to sign up. And course details and registration are also all online.

News From the House

Cralan has been in Ethiopia doing some field work and, we hear, getting a chance to write along the way:

Am in Mekelle now (African city of 100,00 people), capital of Tigray / Tigrai province. Just come from Lalibela, where we visited farmers and govt officials and also visited the world's oldest rock hewn churches...It's nice to be here, and with a different routine. I am doing a lot of writing, and also a lot of sitting in a 4x4. But that seems inevitable. It's a very different way to spend days than in Holland, which is what I am after I suppose.

Cralan returns mid-March.
