WRITERS ARE NEVER BORED
When we started up wordsinhere back in 2002, there wasn't much to speak of in town for the non-Dutch writer. But these days there's something happening weekly. If you haven't noticed already, wordsinhere maintains the only complete, English-language, regularly updated listing of workshops, events, and resources for the local, expatriate writer.
There's plenty to do now if you're a writer in Amsterdam, and we're working this year on expanding our program to other major Dutch cities. Want to beINvolved? Volunteer your time to the most exciting thing to hit Dutch soil since...well, since hagel slag on sliced bread. Got no time but like what we do? We take donations!
NEWS
To those who haven't yet discovered Amsterdam's best night of the spoken word, we're offering another chance. In fact, we're offering monthly chances! Every third Thursday wax poetic with the best local and visiting poets & writers around at The Open Stanza!
And did we mention that Volta built an even bigger, better comfy couch for you lounge lovers?! February's installment: 17 Feb.
